The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn had many critical controveries that effected the way people read and looked at the novel. The contoversy that spiked my interest the most due to the facts and arguments that interesting people like Christopher Looby had to represent was gender and sexulailty. Many people have read this novel and have considered it to be unexpectable to read in high school classrooms but from experience I read this novel in an AP english classroom during my junior year of high school. Though there are many arguments and doubts about the controversies of this novel, the way the arguments are represented and supported is what should be examined.
Im a little confused about what topic you are choosing to do. I think you could explain more about what you think about the gender and sexuality roles.
i think what you have written is very good so far. i like how you decided to choose one controversy in particular but in my opinion it would be better if you talk about the other controversies at least briefly specially knowing it's such a big essay that we are supposed to write. i also really like when you wrote, "the way the arguments are represented and supported is what should be examined." i think that's your strongest point
i also liked the way you related the topic to yourself and that you did read it in highschool. I think it brings the reader in more and makes the essay more real to whoever is reading it.
That sounds good, looks like your going with #3. Give more about why it's out of place in Jr, high or even high school. Not just your thoughts but quotes from the other writers. Still is good I like it.
I am 18 years old and I'm on my way to getting my certificate in automotive technology! I am really excitied about furthering my knowlegde in this subject.

Hey I'm not seeing your, did you get to do it.
Good start, but I'm not getting a clear view of your thoughts. You share how you've come to your views, but I'm not seeing where you stand exactly.
